The Large 2nd Chance Foundation was founded in 2023 in Marietta, GA by DeMarcus R. Large Sr with a vision of providing extended resources to individuals who have experienced Trauma in their lives. After seeing the need for stress outlets and relief in my own life, my eyes and ears were opened to the needs and the cry outs of the community. Every day I meet brothers and sisters who have been subjected to issues such as childhood abuse, substance abuse, incarceration, or being a victim of crime, sexual abuse, neglect and abandonment, torture and forcible confinement, suicide or even thoughts of suicide. poverty or financial instability. We all know someone who has loss a job or a loved one. All of these things have impacted our community, and the results are completely agonizing. Our Mission is to be Leaders that give communities a 2nd chance one person at a time. We are dedicated to ensuring that resources are provided to those who have been impacted by Interpersonal, External, Developmental, and Historical Trauma.
